Hot Tubs are now available!! We've just placed two hot tubs for the enjoyment of our guests. Each tub overlooks the lake and is a wonderful place to begin or end your day in the Ozarks.

Our community firepit is now open.
Hiking - Go for a walk in the woods. With over 7 acres, Cobblepot cottages offers over a mile of walking trails through the woods overlooking Lake of the Ozarks. Walk out of your cabin and head West (to the left if you're looking at the cabins from the street). You'll see trail blazes. There will be a fork where you can go right to get down to our the swim dock or keep going straight and you will be lead cross Wonderland Road. Bring a picnic and sprawl out on these 4.5 acres that offer some great views.
Go for a swim - If you take a right on the trail as indicated above, you will come to some stone steps leading to "Bayview Lane" Directly across the street (behind the brown garage) is a wide gravel trail leading down to the Swim Dock. There's a small patio above the dock where you can enjoy lake views and sunsets. There are some life jackets in the dock locker you may help yourself to. We strongly encourage you to at least have a life jacket nearby while swimming.
Catch a Cab - There are several water taxi's available at the Lake which will take you to many of the bars and restaurants on the water. They should be able to pick you up on the swim dock.
DOCK AVAILABLE - Rent a boat or bring your own - There are dozens of options for renting a boat and enjoying the lake on your own terms. For a day rental you are welcome to side tie to the swim dock (please be conscious of other guests swimming) or, alternatively, you can side tie on our personal dock just to the north. Our dock has large orange bumpers in place. If you'd like to bring your own boat, there is Coffman State Park, which has a nice ramp for launching just around the corner. We do have a single well slip available at our home for your use but you must let us know in advance. A 7500lb boat lift is in the slip and is set up for a v-hull. It will NOT lift a pontoon boat but there is plenty of draft for almost any boat under 27'.

If you'd like privacy in one of the tubs, email and we can tell you there are other guests in the adjacent cottage or talk to your neighbor and see if you can coordinate a private day or evening. In the fall and winter (prime hot tub season) it's very common to have the hot tub all to yourself but no guarantees!
Light a fire. Have some S'mores. Our Ozarkian Batman fire pit is a great place to wind down at night with a campfire and some S'mores. There's plenty of firewood available right by the pit but please make sure your fire is completely put out - there's some sand in the metal trash can for snuffing your fire.
