For the Landlubbers
The Bars and Restaurants above are all waterfront. Jolly Rogers and Boathouse are within 15 minutes by land while the others are considerably further without a boat. For some close-by options, check out:
Feeling Adventurous - Take a drive to Lake Ozark or Osage Beach where you'll find more than a hundred restaurants and bars - from big name chains to classic hole-in-the-wall joints. Our recommendation for a fun afternoon or evening - drive across the dam to Lake Ozark, park your car and stroll around till you find a place that looks good.
- Cheryl's Lake House Cafe - located just a couple miles up the road (where Wonderland Road meets Y Highway), Cheryl's serves a darn fine breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- North Shore - Right next to Cheryl's North Shore is much more than a gas station. They offer Hunt Brothers Pizza, an Ice Cream Parlor, Groceries, Beer Wine and Liquor and much, much more.
- Traffic Jam Pub and Grub - This is a local favorite and is busy all year long. Pool tables, live music and great food specials make this a fun time for that Ozark Experience (allows smoking).
- Big Ry's Pizzeria - Right next door to Traffic Jam, Big Ry's slings Saint Louis style pizzas in a cozy fun atmosphere.
- Hero's Junction - Just down from Traffic Jam at the corner of Y and W, Hero's Junction is another local favorite. Have a beer, grab a burger - Ozark Style (allows smoking)
- City Limits - A couple miles north on Y, City Limits is the newest edition to Rocky Mount. They offer a smoke-free bar and restaurant with great pub fare.
